From the ACTV boat stop take line 1 or line 2. Both lines run along the Grand Canal, line 2 takes about 20 minutes, while the journey with line 1 takes 30 min (more stops).
The stop for Istituto Veneto is "Accademia."
From the "Accademia" boat stop, turn left, cross the Accademia bridge spanning the Grand Canal and walk past the Palazzo Franchetti garden. The entrance to Palazzo Franchetti is on the right at the end of the garden.
