CONFERENCE LOCATION AND HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

The Conference will be held at Istituto Ciliota in Venice a newly restored convent dating back to the XV century. The Istituto Ciliota is situated in the historical center of Venice adjoining the church with the same name and may be easily reached from the nearest vaporetto stop.
The conference room used to be a church, but is efficiently equipped for meetings.
Accommodation will be organised at Istituto Ciliota, where all rooms have been reserved for the participants.

Those wishing to book hotel accommodation are kindly requested to complete the accommodation form and return it to the Organising Secretariat, (GRETA) enclosing the deposit of Lit. 100.000 ( 51,65) to guarantee reservation.
Please indicate your requirements as soon as possible, and before May 20, 2000. After that date, please do not send deposit since accommodation cannot be guaranteed.
The number of rooms available at Istituto Ciliota is limited to 50 on a "first come, first served" basis.

N.B. THE DEPOSIT OF LIT. 100.000 ( 51,65) MUST BE NET OF ALL BANK CHARGES WHICH ARE THE RESPONSABILITY OF THE SENDER.

HOW TO REACH THE CONFERENCE SITE AND THE HOTEL

Arrival by plane: upon arrival at the Venice Airport, you can take bus n. 5 leaving at 10' or 40' past every hour. Alternatively, there is a terminal bus leaving in connection with main flights. Both buses arrive at Piazzale Roma - Venice Terminal in about 20 minutes.
From Piazzale Roma, take vaporetto (public boat) No. 82 directly to "San Samuele" (trip lasts 20 minutes). Walk straight on through "Calle delle Carrozze" and reach "Calle delle Botteghe", the Istituto Ciliota (San Marco, 2976) is situated in "Calle delle Muneghe", on the right hand side of "Calle delle Botteghe".

Arrival by train: the Railway Station is in the center of town; from there, you can take vaporetto No. 82 and follow above instructions.

Arrival by car: you can either park at the Tronchetto park garage (the car park island situated just before Piazzale Roma at the end of the bridge from mainland) and reach Piazzale Roma by public boat No. 1/82 or park directly in Piazzale Roma (Garage Comunale or Garage San Marco). Vaporetto No. 82 will take you to "San Samuele", then follow the above instructions.

REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fee is Lit. 200.000 ( 103,29). It includes the following: admission to all scientific sessions; registration package; lunches and coffee breaks.
